Final Approvals Mark Major Milestone for West St. Paul Redevelopment

Greco is excited to share that our long-anticipated redevelopment at 150 Thompson Ave. E. in West St. Paul, MN has officially received all necessary approvals from the City of West St. Paul. In partnership with Swervo Development, this $145 million project will transform an underutilized and vacant site into a vibrant community with a variety of housing options, and impressive public park, and new retail.

The redevelopment will bring 476 new homes to the area, including apartments and townhomes, along with a renovated commercial building that will feature a future restaurant and other neighborhood-serving uses. It also includes important park improvements that will enhance the surrounding community. Construction is expected to begin this spring, with the first phase starting as early as May.

As Josh Brandsted, Greco’s president and owner, shared, this location offers exceptional access to nearby retail, neighboring communities, and downtown St. Paul, making it an ideal setting for a modern, connected residential community. This project has been years in the making, and we are grateful for the collaboration and partnership with the City of West St. Paul to bring it to life.
